Lacquering rusted metal hardware

My post about removing rust with Evapo-rust. truly a miracle product! I highly recommend it! This product will come in very handy for me as I have a lot of hardware that was painted over because it rusted.

It removed every last bit of rust!

All the hinges fit together and operate so smoothly now!

I used a rust-oleum spray on lacquer to protect and enhance the appearance of the hinges and the transom hardware.

In the end, it all turned out beautifully! Lubricated moving parts with 3 in 1 oil.
